The Hurricane
Earlier this week, I posted an emotional video about our evacuation and flooding on the third anniversary of Hurricane Harvey. It was an incredibly stressful week as we watched two hurricanes heading our direction. Houston dodged a bullet this week. (Two, actually.) Our hearts go out to all of those affected by Hurricane Laura. To lighten the mood and decompress, I decided to make Hurricane Cocktails. I made the Original 1939 version from the New York World's Fair, the CLASSIC New Orleans favorite from Pat O'Brien's as well as the version that I made for many years behind the bar.
